Have patience and I'm sure that OnePlus will deliver this feature for us 🙂👍Ĭlick to expand. This means that 2 things have to happen. This feature needs to be prioritized among requested features, assigned to a team when it's queued for development, QA'd, tested, packaged with the next OTA update, and probably lots of other steps as well. OnePlus, as well as everyone else, will implement this but it's not realistic to expect every manufacturer to have this available as soon as it's released. This means that, at the time of writing, only two companies have implemented it.

This protocol, ASHA, is brand spanking new. The protocol, ASHA, is not what iPhone has used.
#NUCLEUS APP FOR IPAD ANDROID#
Google, GN, and others have collaborated to create an open protocol that can be used by any phone or device but it was designed to bring the same capability to Android that Made For iPhone devices have without the proprietary protocol that's only limited to that one manufacturer (Apple).

Apple has only offered this on devices with the Made For iPhone branding because these devices are specifically made to be compatible with Apple's proprietary protocol. While that's true, Apple developed their own protocol for this and, until recently, there has been no way to do this on Android. Several people mention that Apple / iPhone has been doing this for years. Secondly, I feel that some things need to be cleared up.
